SantaCon in Billings, MT

Our event list does not include a 2026 SantaCon for Billings, so we are not listing a date. That could change if an event is added later, so check back. Old SantaCon listings for Billings may not apply this year. Meanwhile, other cities have confirmed dates, so look at their pages.

People dress as Santa or other holiday characters and visit bars together, which is the heart of SantaCon. The format began in San Francisco in the 1990s and has been copied widely. A listing for Billings would need to be added before there is anything to attend. Dates announced so far elsewhere are all in December.

Other dated cities in surrounding states include Boise, ID (Dec 12). Dates and details are on each city's event page. Rules, perks and routes can differ from one city to the next. Dates and details can change, so recheck each event page before you travel.

Dress festive. Santa gear is the standard, though any holiday character fits the crawl. December in Montana can be freezing, so plan a warm base layer under the costume and bring gloves. Skip costume pieces that are hard to carry or that block other guests. Test the outfit at home so you know it stays put.

Because this is a bar crawl, assume 21+ entry and bring a valid government-issued photo ID. Rules can differ by venue, so check the event page for anything specific to Billings. Arriving with your ID in hand speeds up the line. Do not lend your ID to anyone, since it will not work for them.

The best way is to return to this page, since an added Billings event would appear here with its own page. Pages that exist today can change as organizers confirm details. Dated events on our list use Saturdays in December. Until then, dated cities elsewhere on the list are the better bet for planning.
