SantaCon in Oakland, CA

The Oakland date on our event list is Saturday, December 12, 2026, which is the second Saturday of December. We have only one Oakland date on file, so there is no second night to choose from. No start time is listed in this summary, so confirm it on the SantaCon Oakland event page. Add the date to your calendar now so the weekend does not fill up.

Plan on a 21+ crowd, since the legal drinking age in California is 21. Individual bars can set stricter entry rules than the law requires. Door staff make the final call on entry. Keep it in a secure pocket so it does not get lost in a crowd.

We do not list bar names here because venues are not confirmed in the data behind this page; the Oakland event page is the place to look. Do not rely on posts from earlier years, since bars and routes can change. Follow the organizer for announcements about start points. Walking distances between bars matter, so note them before choosing shoes.

SantaCon Oakland is a holiday bar crawl where guests dress as Santa, elves or other festive characters and move from bar to bar. Because it is a group event, you will share bars with other costumed guests rather than having a venue to yourself. The Oakland event page holds the details that apply to this city. Going with friends makes it easier, since the night is more fun in a group.

A Santa suit is the classic choice, but elves, reindeer, snowmen and festive ugly sweaters blend in just as well. Check the Oakland forecast before you head out; a layer you can remove helps when you move between bars. Wear shoes you can stand in for hours. Test the outfit at home so you know it stays put.

Any ticket options for Oakland are shown on the event page, and nothing here guarantees availability or a price. Read what each ticket type includes before you pay. Questions about an order should go to the organizer named on the event page. Compare any bundle options only after confirming the date matches your plans.
