Dress festive. Santa gear is the standard, though any holiday character fits the crawl. Dress for the cold with insulated boots, warm socks and a costume that works with a winter jacket. Skip costume pieces that are hard to carry or that block other guests. Test the outfit at home so you know it stays put.

Bar crawls are built around alcohol service, and the legal drinking age in Indiana is 21, so expect a 21+ crowd. Rules can differ by venue, so check the event page for anything specific to South Bend. A phone photo of an ID may not be accepted at the door, so bring the physical card. Do not lend your ID to anyone, since it will not work for them.

SantaCon is an annual holiday gathering where people dress as Santa, elves and other festive characters and visit bars. Different cities run it differently, so formats and rules are not the same everywhere. A listing for South Bend would need to be added before there is anything to attend. Dates announced so far elsewhere are all in December.
