The theme is Santa and the holidays, so a red outfit with a Santa hat is the easy starting point. Winter weather in Michigan can be harsh; choose a costume that fits over a coat or add thermal layers underneath. Wear shoes you can stand in for hours. Test the outfit at home so you know it stays put.
