SantaCon in Greensboro, NC

A 2026 date for Greensboro is not confirmed in the data behind this page, so we are not listing one here. Open the Greensboro event page to see whether a schedule has been posted. Cities with confirmed dates on our list fall on Saturdays in December, but that does not set Greensboro's date. Hold off on non-refundable travel until a date is confirmed.

Show up in Santa gear or another holiday look. A single hat can work, but a full outfit fits in better. Winter weather varies in North Carolina, so choose layers over one heavy piece. Wear shoes you can stand in for hours. Test the outfit at home so you know it stays put.

Plan on a 21+ crowd, since the legal drinking age in North Carolina is 21. Bring a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID in case you are asked to show it. Door staff make the final call on entry. Do not lend your ID to anyone, since it will not work for them.

Yes. Other North Carolina stops with dates on our list include Charlotte (Dec 5), Raleigh (Dec 12) and Wilmington (Dec 12). Dates and details are on each city's event page. Compare the event pages rather than assuming the schedule matches. If you are driving, look at parking and rideshare options near the start point.

Expect a costume-heavy holiday bar crawl: Santa suits, elf outfits and plenty of red and green as the crowd heads from bar to bar. Each city's event is organized on its own, so what you find in Greensboro may not mirror SantaCon elsewhere. For specifics about Greensboro, including what a ticket covers, read the event page. Going with friends makes it easier, since the night is more fun in a group.

Registration and ticket details for Greensboro sit on the event page rather than here. Buy only through the checkout link shown there so you know you are paying the right organizer. Take a quick screenshot of your ticket in case service is slow inside a crowded bar. Compare any bundle options only after confirming the date matches your plans.

The start location and bar list are best confirmed on the event page; we will not guess at venues for Greensboro. Route information may be released in stages as the event gets closer. Check start information before you head out so you are not hunting for the group. Ask your group to pick a backup meeting spot in case you get separated.
