SantaCon in Dover, DE

At the moment, Dover has no confirmed SantaCon event in our data. If one is added, it would get its own event page and date. Treat older posts about SantaCon in Dover with caution, since their dates may be out of date. Meanwhile, other cities have confirmed dates, so look at their pages.

Eat a real meal beforehand and drink water between rounds, since the night covers several hours. Wear comfortable shoes, because you will be on your feet. Be kind to bar staff, who handle large crowds on a busy night. Never leave a drink unattended.

Plan on a 21+ crowd, since the legal drinking age in Delaware is 21. If your group includes anyone under 21, check the event page before you plan around them. A phone photo of an ID may not be accepted at the door, so bring the physical card. Do not lend your ID to anyone, since it will not work for them.

A Santa suit is the classic choice, but elves, reindeer, snowmen and festive ugly sweaters blend in just as well. Winter weather varies in Delaware, so choose layers over one heavy piece. Skip costume pieces that are hard to carry or that block other guests. Test the outfit at home so you know it stays put.

New events are published as event pages, so a Dover page would appear if the city is added. Pages that exist today can change as organizers confirm details. Confirmed cities so far fall on December 5, 12 and 19. Until then, dated cities elsewhere on the list are the better bet for planning.

SantaCon is a Santa-themed pub crawl held in December in cities around the country. It is commonly traced back to San Francisco in 1994. Not every city has an event each year, and Dover is covered on this page for that reason. Dates announced so far elsewhere are all in December.

Delaware has no dated SantaCon on our list; in neighboring states we have Bethlehem, PA (Dec 12), Lancaster, PA (Dec 12) and Philadelphia, PA (Dec 5).
