SantaCon in Idaho Falls, ID

We cannot confirm a Idaho Falls SantaCon for 2026 from our data, so we are not publishing a date. If one is added, it would get its own event page and date. If you saw a date elsewhere, verify it before making plans. Meanwhile, other cities have confirmed dates, so look at their pages.

People dress as Santa or other holiday characters and visit bars together, which is the heart of SantaCon. Different cities run it differently, so formats and rules are not the same everywhere. Whether Idaho Falls has an event depends on whether an organizer lists one. Dates announced so far elsewhere are all in December.

The theme is Santa and the holidays, so a red outfit with a Santa hat is the easy starting point. December in Idaho can be freezing, so plan a warm base layer under the costume and bring gloves. Leave anything fragile at home since crowds get close. Test the outfit at home so you know it stays put.

Check back on this page, which is where a Idaho Falls event would show up once listed. Bookmarking the page helps you spot changes. Confirmed cities so far fall on December 5, 12 and 19. Until then, dated cities elsewhere on the list are the better bet for planning.

Plan on a 21+ crowd, since the legal drinking age in Idaho is 21. Bring a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID in case you are asked to show it. Arriving with your ID in hand speeds up the line. Keep it in a secure pocket so it does not get lost in a crowd.

Other Idaho cities on our list with dates: Boise (Dec 12). Dates and details are on each city's event page. Traveling for the night? Plan lodging and a way home first. If you are driving, look at parking and rideshare options near the start point.
