SantaCon in Provo, UT

Our event list does not include a 2026 SantaCon for Provo, so we are not listing a date. If one is added, it would get its own event page and date. If you saw a date elsewhere, verify it before making plans. Meanwhile, other cities have confirmed dates, so look at their pages.

In Utah, our event data also shows Salt Lake City (Dec 12). Check each event page for the date that fits your plans. Rules, perks and routes can differ from one city to the next. Share the event pages with your group so everyone agrees on a city and date.

The best way is to return to this page, since an added Provo event would appear here with its own page. The event list is the place to look for new cities. Confirmed cities so far fall on December 5, 12 and 19. Until then, dated cities elsewhere on the list are the better bet for planning.

Because this is a bar crawl, assume 21+ entry and bring a valid government-issued photo ID. Rules can differ by venue, so check the event page for anything specific to Provo. Never drive after drinking; plan a ride before you go. Do not lend your ID to anyone, since it will not work for them.

The theme is Santa and the holidays, so a red outfit with a Santa hat is the easy starting point. Expect cold in Provo in December. Layers matter, and you may spend time outdoors between bars. Comfortable shoes matter because you will be walking between bars. Test the outfit at home so you know it stays put.

SantaCon is an annual holiday gathering where people dress as Santa, elves and other festive characters and visit bars. It is commonly traced back to San Francisco in 1994. Not every city has an event each year, and Provo is covered on this page for that reason. Dates announced so far elsewhere are all in December.
