Wear a Santa suit or another holiday costume; red, green and white outfits, elf looks and reindeer gear all fit the theme. December in Minnesota can be freezing, so plan a warm base layer under the costume and bring gloves. Wear shoes you can stand in for hours. Test the outfit at home so you know it stays put.

Anyone planning to drink should be 21 or older with a valid photo ID, and the event may apply its own limits. Individual bars can set stricter entry rules than the law requires. A phone photo of an ID may not be accepted at the door, so bring the physical card. Keep it in a secure pocket so it does not get lost in a crowd.

If an event for Saint Paul is added to our list, this page and the related event page would show it. Searching again closer to December can also turn up listings. Cities with confirmed dates currently all fall on December Saturdays. Until then, dated cities elsewhere on the list are the better bet for planning.
