SantaCon in Cheyenne, WY

Our event list does not include a 2026 SantaCon for Cheyenne, so we are not listing a date. That could change if an event is added later, so check back. Please do not rely on listings from other years, because dates change annually. Meanwhile, other cities have confirmed dates, so look at their pages.

Arrive early enough to find your group, then take it one bar at a time. Set a budget for food, drinks and transport before you head out. Pick one person in the group to keep an eye on everyone's ride home. Follow local rules about open containers and walking between bars.

New events are published as event pages, so a Cheyenne page would appear if the city is added. Bookmarking the page helps you spot changes. Confirmed cities so far fall on December 5, 12 and 19. Do not make non-refundable plans around a Cheyenne event that is not listed.

Other dated cities in surrounding states include Colorado Springs, CO (Dec 5), Denver, CO (Dec 12) and Fort Collins, CO (Dec 5). Check each event page for the date that fits your plans. Traveling for the night? Plan lodging and a way home first. If you are driving, look at parking and rideshare options near the start point.

Bar crawls are built around alcohol service, and the legal drinking age in Wyoming is 21, so expect a 21+ crowd. Rules can differ by venue, so check the event page for anything specific to Cheyenne. Name a sober driver or schedule a rideshare in advance. Do not lend your ID to anyone, since it will not work for them.

Wear a Santa suit or another holiday costume; red, green and white outfits, elf looks and reindeer gear all fit the theme. December in Wyoming can be freezing, so plan a warm base layer under the costume and bring gloves. Skip costume pieces that are hard to carry or that block other guests. Test the outfit at home so you know it stays put.

People dress as Santa or other holiday characters and visit bars together, which is the heart of SantaCon. Different cities run it differently, so formats and rules are not the same everywhere. Not every city has an event each year, and Cheyenne is covered on this page for that reason. Dates announced so far elsewhere are all in December.
