SantaCon in Mobile, AL

At the moment, Mobile has no confirmed SantaCon event in our data. A date would need to be confirmed before it could be shown here. Please do not rely on listings from other years, because dates change annually. Meanwhile, other cities have confirmed dates, so look at their pages.

Because this is a bar crawl, assume 21+ entry and bring a valid government-issued photo ID. If your group includes anyone under 21, check the event page before you plan around them. Name a sober driver or schedule a rideshare in advance. Do not lend your ID to anyone, since it will not work for them.

The theme is Santa and the holidays, so a red outfit with a Santa hat is the easy starting point. Winter weather varies in Alabama, so choose layers over one heavy piece. Comfortable shoes matter because you will be walking between bars. Test the outfit at home so you know it stays put.

SantaCon is a Santa-themed pub crawl held in December in cities around the country. It has spread well beyond its San Francisco beginnings. A listing for Mobile would need to be added before there is anything to attend. Dates announced so far elsewhere are all in December.

Go with a group if you can, agree on a meeting spot, and share your location with a friend. Set a budget for food, drinks and transport before you head out. Stay with your group when you leave a bar. Follow local rules about open containers and walking between bars.

Other dated cities in surrounding states include Chattanooga, TN (Dec 5), Knoxville, TN (Dec 5) and Memphis, TN (Dec 12). Compare the event pages to see which date suits you. Look at travel time before choosing, since distances can be longer than they look. If you are driving, look at parking and rideshare options near the start point.

New events are published as event pages, so a Mobile page would appear if the city is added. Searching again closer to December can also turn up listings. Dated events on our list use Saturdays in December. Until then, dated cities elsewhere on the list are the better bet for planning.
