SantaCon in Santa Barbara, CA

SantaCon Santa Barbara is set for Saturday, December 12, 2026, based on the date listed for this event. We have only one Santa Barbara date on file, so there is no second night to choose from. The event page is where schedule changes would show up if the date or timing moves. Add the date to your calendar now so the weekend does not fill up.

Plan on a 21+ crowd, since the legal drinking age in California is 21. The event page is the place to confirm any age requirement the organizer sets. Arriving with your ID in hand speeds up the line. Do not lend your ID to anyone, since it will not work for them.

Other California SantaCon dates currently listed: Ventura (Dec 12), Hollywood (Dec 12) and Long Beach (Dec 12). Expect the same weekend schedule across them. Traveling for the night? Plan lodging and a way home first. If you are driving, look at parking and rideshare options near the start point.

No venue list is confirmed here. Check the event page, which is where the organizer would post bars or a meeting point. Save the event page so you can check it for updates. Follow the organizer for announcements about start points. Ask your group to pick a backup meeting spot in case you get separated.

Show up in Santa gear or another holiday look. A single hat can work, but a full outfit fits in better. Winter weather varies in California, so choose layers over one heavy piece. Comfortable shoes matter because you will be walking between bars. Test the outfit at home so you know it stays put.

Any ticket options for Santa Barbara are shown on the event page, and nothing here guarantees availability or a price. Keep your confirmation email handy, since you may be asked for it at check-in. Take a quick screenshot of your ticket in case service is slow inside a crowded bar. Compare any bundle options only after confirming the date matches your plans.

It is a Santa-themed bar crawl, so the crowd is dressed up and the night revolves around visiting bars together. The idea started in San Francisco in 1994 and has since spread to cities across the country. Treat this page as a starting point and the event page as the source for the particulars. Going with friends makes it easier, since the night is more fun in a group.
