SantaCon in Shreveport, LA

We cannot confirm a Shreveport SantaCon for 2026 from our data, so we are not publishing a date. Information would appear on an event page if the city is added. Please do not rely on listings from other years, because dates change annually. Meanwhile, other cities have confirmed dates, so look at their pages.

Eat a real meal beforehand and drink water between rounds, since the night covers several hours. Keep valuables to a minimum, since crowded bars invite lost phones. Respect each bar's rules and capacity limits. Never leave a drink unattended.

Plan on being 21 or older, since the event is a bar crawl and the U.S. legal drinking age is 21. The event page is the place to confirm any age requirement the organizer sets. Name a sober driver or schedule a rideshare in advance. Do not lend your ID to anyone, since it will not work for them.

Dress festive. Santa gear is the standard, though any holiday character fits the crawl. December in Louisiana can swing between chilly and mild, so bring a light jacket you do not mind carrying. Leave anything fragile at home since crowds get close. Test the outfit at home so you know it stays put.

New events are published as event pages, so a Shreveport page would appear if the city is added. Bookmarking the page helps you spot changes. Dated events on our list use Saturdays in December. Until then, dated cities elsewhere on the list are the better bet for planning.

A SantaCon is a group holiday party where costumed guests move through bars. The format began in San Francisco in the 1990s and has been copied widely. This page gives Shreveport searchers a place to check status. Dates announced so far elsewhere are all in December.

Other Louisiana SantaCon dates currently listed: New Orleans (Dec 12). Dates and details are on each city's event page. Rules, perks and routes can differ from one city to the next. Share the event pages with your group so everyone agrees on a city and date.
