The essentials for planning your Kansas City KS SantaCon
You buy a ticket, check in, and visit participating bars wearing the SantaCon wristband, dressed as Santa or an elf. Guests must be 21. Other Santa events in the metro are separate, with their own organizers.
Date, start time and check-in details will be confirmed in the event details on this page and in your ticket information. Wait for those before planning your day.
Go to the check-in venue named in your ticket information. That is the only place to collect your wristband and digital map, so start there.
Expect an event wristband, participating bar access, deals offered by participating bars and a digital crawl map. Individual drinks are not automatically free, so read your ticket description.
Carry a valid government-issued photo ID, because every guest must be 21 or older. Bring the physical ID, since bars may check it in addition to your wristband.
Dress for the cold. Kansas City, Kansas averages holiday-season highs near 44 degrees Fahrenheit and lows near 27, with some snow, so layer a coat under or over your costume.
