Boise SantaCon turns downtown into a ticketed holiday bar crawl. Guests wear Santa suits, elf gear and antlers, check in for a wristband, then visit participating bars at whatever speed suits the group and the weather. Downtown Boise is home to the Basque Block, and Valley Regional Transit buses serve the city through Main Street Station. Winters here are moderately cold, so many groups plan a rideshare for the ride home. Watch your event information for the venue where you check in, the bars on the route and the finished schedule.
Everything important, without the wall of text.
The essentials that make this SantaCon crawl easy to join and fun to explore.
Boise’s participating bars are confirmed through your event information and shown on the digital map. Lineups can change, and every bar sets its own specials. The map you receive, not the neighborhood, is what defines your route.
From booking your pass to enjoying the final stop.
Choose a ticket that fits everyone in your party and pay online. Every sale is final, so lock the plan before you buy.
Show up at the confirmed check-in venue, hand over a valid government-issued photo ID and take your wristband and map.
Work through the participating bars at your own pace, ask about event deals and keep the wristband on your wrist.
Head out when the night feels finished. Whatever else is planned for the end of the evening will be listed in your event information.
The essentials for planning your Boise SantaCon
A ticketed holiday bar crawl in downtown Boise. Guests in Santa and elf costumes visit participating bars on one event wristband, so a ticket is required before you head out.
Open your ticket email and event information to find the confirmed check-in venue, then go there before anything else. Wristbands and maps come from that desk only.
Plan around a wristband, access to participating bars, their own deals and a digital map. Drinks stay a separate cost, and your ticket details cover anything else.
Bring a valid government-issued photo ID and be 21 or older. Participating bars check ID at the door, so keep the physical card in a pocket that is easy to reach.
Not on its own. Boise winters are moderately cold, so wear thermal layers under the costume and bring gloves. A bulky suit fits over them easily.
Valley Regional Transit buses serve Boise, with Main Street Station as the main hub. Many groups book a rideshare for the trip home, so plan it before the evening starts.
No. You can skip stops and spend longer at the ones you like, as long as you stay within event hours. The digital map lists every participating bar.
Open the group booking form lower on this page if your party numbers 20 or more. Discounts, VIP perks, reserved check-in and private party packages might be offered at that size.
Pick your pass and get ready to join the party.
