Everything important, without the wall of text.
The essentials that make this SantaCon crawl easy to join and fun to explore.
The participating Aurora bars will be confirmed in your event information and on the digital map, and the lineup can change. Each bar sets its own specials. Downtown Aurora is one local reference point, but the map, not the neighborhood, decides where your crawl goes.
From booking your pass to enjoying the final stop.
Choose the Aurora ticket that suits your group and complete checkout. All sales are final, so confirm your plans first.
Show a valid government-issued photo ID at the confirmed check-in venue, then collect your wristband and digital map.
Visit participating bars in any order, ask for the event specials and keep your wristband on.
Finish when you like. Anything planned for the end of the crawl will appear in your event information.
The essentials for planning your Aurora IL SantaCon
Treat it as a ticketed holiday bar crawl, costumed guests wear one wristband and visit participating bars. This page covers a ticketed crawl that is separate from other Santa events around Aurora.
Watch the event details on this page. The date, start time and check-in window will be confirmed there and in your ticket information, and nothing is assumed until then.
Head to the venue named in your ticket and event information once it is confirmed. Only there will you receive the wristband and digital map, so go there before any bar.
Read your ticket description, the core is a wristband, participating bar access, deals offered by participating bars and a digital map. Individual drinks are not automatically free, and ticket tiers can differ.
Bring a valid government-issued photo ID; the minimum age is 21. Bars check ID separately from the wristband, so keep the physical card handy instead of a photo.
Pack for real cold, climate normals put the holiday-season average high near 36 degrees Fahrenheit and the low near 22, with snow likely. Wear a warm base layer under the costume and shoes with grip.
Look up current Metra schedules before you commit. The BNSF Line serves Aurora and ends at the Aurora Transportation Center, but this page does not list train times.
Yes, send your headcount through the group form below. Parties of 20 or more are eligible to ask about discounts, VIP perks, reserved check-in and private party packages.
