Champaign SantaCon is a ticketed holiday bar crawl for the Santa-suited. You check in, get a wristband, and visit participating bars as quickly or slowly as your crew likes, each bar setting its own deals. Champaign shares the University of Illinois campus with Urbana, and the Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District runs the local buses, with a hub in downtown Champaign. The digital map marks the stops for you. Where to check in, which bars are in the lineup and how the schedule runs will be spelled out in your confirmed event information.
Everything important, without the wall of text.
The essentials that make this SantaCon crawl easy to join and fun to explore.
Participating Champaign bars are confirmed by your event information and mapped digitally. Lineups can change, and each bar sets its own specials. Wherever you end up, the confirmed map decides the route, and we do not name stops ahead of that confirmation.
From booking your pass to enjoying the final stop.
Select the Champaign ticket for your group and complete the online checkout. Sales are final, so confirm plans with the group first.
Go to the check-in venue shown in your event information with a valid government-issued photo ID, and collect your wristband and digital map.
Choose your own pace between participating bars, ask each for its event deals, and leave the wristband on.
Call it whenever you want. If anything extra is planned for the end, your event information will list it.
