Clawson SantaCon is a ticketed Christmas bar crawl for adults in Santa suits, elf ears and reindeer antlers. You check in, pick up one wristband, then visit participating bars at whatever pace suits your group. Clawson is a small Oakland County city about 19 miles north of downtown Detroit, covering roughly two square miles, so the crawl stays local. Your digital map shows which bars take part, and nobody has to memorize a route. Once your ticket is confirmed, your event information spells out where to check in, which bars are in the lineup and how the schedule runs.
Everything important, without the wall of text.
The essentials that make this SantaCon crawl easy to join and fun to explore.
Clawson’s participating bars are confirmed in your event information and on the digital map, so treat that lineup as the final word. Lineups can change, and each bar controls its own deals. The city is compact, with a downtown and a municipal center, so the map matters more than any neighborhood guess.
From booking your pass to enjoying the final stop.
Choose the Clawson ticket that suits your group and check out online. Sales are final, so confirm your plans first.
Bring a valid government-issued photo ID to the confirmed check-in venue, and leave with your wristband and map.
Move between participating bars in any order, ask about the event deals and keep your wristband on.
Finish when your group is ready. Anything planned for later in the evening will appear in your event information.
The essentials for planning your Clawson SantaCon
Think of a costume-friendly night out, this page covers a ticketed Santa bar crawl in Clawson. Check in for a wristband, then visit participating bars on your own schedule.
Plan on the date, start time and check-in details being confirmed in the event details on this page and in your ticket information. Nothing is final until it appears there.
Your ticket information names the check-in venue once it is confirmed. Go there first, because the wristband and digital map are handed out only at check-in.
Plan on an event wristband, access to participating bars, deals offered by those bars and a digital crawl map. Individual drinks are not automatically free, and ticket types may differ, so read yours.
You must be 21 or older with a valid government-issued photo ID. Here is the catch, bring the physical card, because bars may check it separately from your wristband.
Plan on real winter weather. Detroit-area highs average in the upper 30s this time of year, with lows near 25 degrees and regular snow. Wear your costume over warm layers and sturdy boots.
