Columbus SantaCon is a ticketed, 21+ holiday bar crawl where guests dress as Santas, elves and reindeer. You check in, pick up an event wristband, then visit participating bars on your own schedule, using the deals those bars offer. The Short North and the Arena District both have bars and restaurants, and COTA is the metro area’s public bus operator. The digital crawl map shows each stop, so you can skip memorizing street names after a few drinks. Venue, lineup, schedule, all three land in your event information after they are confirmed, and the check-in venue is the first to find.

The participating Columbus bars are confirmed in your event information and marked on the digital map, so that lineup is the one to follow. Lineups can change, and each bar sets its own specials. Your route comes from the map, not from a guess about which neighborhood is busiest.

Pick the Columbus ticket that suits your party and pay online. All sales are final, so lock in your plans before paying.
Arrive at the confirmed check-in venue with a valid government-issued photo ID, and you leave with the wristband and digital map.

Think ticketed bar-hopping in costume. Guests visit participating Columbus bars on a single wristband, so no ticket means no wristband and no entry on the crawl.

Columbus winters are cold, with average highs near 41 degrees and lows in the high 20s, plus long cloudy stretches. Layer a warm base under the costume and add gloves and a coat you can carry.
COTA is the metro area's public bus operator, and a ride-share or bus saves you from finding a designated driver. Check its current schedule before you head out.
