Your digital map shows the actual stops. Your check-in venue, bar lineup and schedule come through your event information once they are confirmed, so keep it close.
Everything important, without the wall of text.
The essentials that make this SantaCon crawl easy to join and fun to explore.
Participating Richmond bars are confirmed in your event information and displayed on the digital map. Lineups can change, and each bar controls its own specials, so check the map before each move. Jackson Ward and Scott’s Addition are two Richmond neighborhoods with plenty of bars and breweries, though the route comes from the map.

The essentials for planning your Richmond SantaCon
Easy answer, a ticketed holiday pub crawl where costumed guests visit participating Richmond bars on a single wristband. A ticket is needed, so get yours before the day.
Each ticket gets you a wristband for the event, bar access, deals offered by those bars and a digital map to navigate. Drinks are not automatically free, so carry a payment card.
You must be 21 or older and carry a valid government-issued photo ID. Bars check the ID in addition to the wristband, so leave the physical card in your pocket.
The check-in window is confirmed in your event information, and the overall start and end times sit in the event details at the top of this page. Collect your wristband before you head to any bar.
No. Visit as many as you like at your own pace within the event hours. The map shows each participating stop so you can skip one or return to a favorite.
GRTC buses, including the Pulse on Broad Street, run through central Richmond, but check schedules before relying on a late ride. A rideshare or designated driver is the safer plan.
Winter highs hover around 50 degrees Fahrenheit and lows dip near freezing. Put a warm layer under the suit and wear shoes that survive a long walk between stops.
