Virginia Beach SantaCon is a ticketed holiday bar crawl for guests 21 and over. After check-in you wear an event wristband and visit participating bars in costume, choosing your own order and how long you stay at each one. Atlantic Avenue and the Oceanfront Boardwalk sit in Virginia Beach’s resort area, an Atlantic Ocean strip of hotels, restaurants and shops. Your digital map shows the crawl stops. Event information confirms your check-in venue, your bar lineup and the rest of the schedule.
Everything important, without the wall of text.
The essentials that make this SantaCon crawl easy to join and fun to explore.
Virginia Beach’s participating bars are confirmed through your event information and shown on the digital map. Lineups can change, and each bar sets its own specials. The Oceanfront has nightlife along Atlantic and Pacific avenues, but the map is what decides the route.
From booking your pass to enjoying the final stop.
Choose the Virginia Beach ticket that fits your group and buy online. Sales are final, so settle the guest list first.

Head out when you are ready. If the event plans anything for the end of the day, you will find it in your event information.
The essentials for planning your Virginia Beach SantaCon
A ticketed 21+ holiday bar crawl where guests in Santa outfits visit participating Virginia Beach bars on one wristband. Tickets are required, so buy yours before you head to the Oceanfront.
Look at the event details near the top. Start and end times are there. Check-in timing is confirmed in your event information.
Your ticket names the confirmed venue. Go there first. Wristbands and maps are only given out at check-in, so do not skip it.
Work out how you will get to the Oceanfront and home before the crawl starts. Do not plan on driving yourself after a crawl, and agree on a sober driver or rideshare early.
Winters are cool, with highs in the mid 50s and lows in the upper 30s. Wear layers under your costume, and a hat and gloves are sensible additions.
Expect an event wristband and bar access. The ticket adds a digital crawl map. Deals come from the bars, and individual drinks are not automatically free.
